Alternate Ballot Return
Instead of mailing your completed ballot, you can return it to any one of 20 dropbox locations throughout FultonCounty (Fulton County ballots must be returned to Fulton County boxes). The boxes are monitored by video cameras and must be emptied by elections workers at least once per day. Find a list and map of locations at the Fulton County Absentee Drop Box page. Once you've returned your ballot to a dropbox, confirm receipt at the Georgia My Voter Page. You can return your ballot to a drop box up until 7:00 pm on Tuesday, June 9.

If you return your ballot by US mail, it must be received by 7:00 PM on Tuesday, June 9, 2020.

If you have any problems or questions, contact the Fulton County Voter Registration Office at 404-612-3816 or the Democratic Party of Georgia voter hotline at 888-730-5816.

What if my absentee ballot doesn't arrive before Election Day?
If you have requested - but not received an absentee ballot - you can still vote early in person or on Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at your usual polling place. The process will take a little longer because the poll worker must view your record and cancel the absentee ballot request.

What does the Georgia House of Representatives do?

The Georgia House of Representatives, along with the Georgia Senate, makes up one of the largest state legislatures in the nation, the Georgia General Assembly. The State Constitution imbues the legislature with the power to make laws, set the state budget and perform other functions. The House and the Senate have similar duties, but both also have unique duties; for instance, appropriations bills (potential laws) must originate in the House. Georgia's legislature meets from January through March at the State Capitol in Atlanta. Alex Wan is a candidate for Georgia House District 57 in the Democratic Primary Election originally scheduled for Tuesday, May 19, 2020, but delayed until June 9 due to COVID-19.
