Alex wins District 6 race

With results from the November 5 election tallied, I am pleased to tell you that – with your help – we won another term on the Atlanta City Council, District 6. Preliminary results show that we garnered 76% of the vote.
I am both humbled and honored that my friends and neighbors in District 6 have given me their vote of confidence, and I look forward to continuing to serve as your voice in city government. It is especially heartening that such a diverse cross-section of people and organizations came together to give our campaign its strength and momentum. Of course, I will continue to ask for your assistance and support as we together go about doing the work of the District and the City. Start helping me now by sharing your ideas on how we can continue making our City better. In the meantime, I want to again thank you for your support; your efforts are what brought us to this victory in a position of strength, unity and momentum. Your yard sign is made of recyclable plastic. Over the days following the election, we will come through the District to pick up remaining signs. If you would like to keep your sign for the re-election campaign in 2017, please do so. If not, you can recycle it with your weekly waste, or we will pick it up for you.
Both the sign and the stake are recyclable with your normal weekly pick up. |
