Alex wins District 6 race
With results from the December 1 run-off election tallied, I am pleased to tell you that – with your help – we won the Atlanta City Council District 6 seat. Preliminary results show that we garnered 60% of the vote.
I am both humbled and honored that my friends and neighbors in District 6 have given me their vote of confidence, and I look forward to serving as your voice in city government. It is especially heartening that such a diverse cross-section of people and organizations came together to give our campaign the kind of strength we needed to win.
I want to thank Liz Coyle for her many contributions to the betterment of our community and all of the District 6 candidates for having run positive campaigns that focused on the issues. I look forward to working with each of them as we address the pressing issues facing our City.
Of course, I will continue to ask for your assistance and support as we together go about doing the work of the District and the City. Start helping me now by sharing your ideas on how we can continue making our City better.

Your yard sign is made of recyclable plastic. Over the next few days we will come through the District to pick up remaining signs. If you would like to keep yours, please do so. If not, you can recycle it with your weekly pick up or we will pick it up for you.
